Walk in Your Divine Inheritance (2min)

I want to share with you a conversation with Bob Jones, where I discovered one of the greatest keys I have ever learned from a spiritual father!
“A good person leaves an inheritance for their children's children…” Proverbs 13:22 NIV
One time I was in Cincinnati, Ohio, hanging out with Bob Jones at a conference. While he was ministering, he began to release healings and miracles. Bob called me up to minister with him. He said to prophesy over this man, so I did. Then he asked me to call out a word of knowledge. I called one out about someone’s back and a man got healed. Then Bob looked at me and said, “Now sit down and shut up, boy.” I sat down, but inside I was thinking, “What?! What did I do?”
I remember after the meeting, Bob called me into the back room. There were about 20 people in there. When I walked in, he told everyone in the room to leave because he needed to talk to me alone. You can imagine everyone thinking, “Ooooohhh! You are in trouble, man!”

Everyone left and I was there alone with Bob Jones. He looked at me and said, “You young punks get away with everything now-a-days and you never have to pay a price. You know what you are, boy? You are a ‘silver spoon prophet.’ Everything you have received has been spoon fed from myself, Bobby Conner and your papas and mamas. And you know what I think of that, Boy?”
At this point I was terrified! I responded, “What?”
He said, “I love it because I’m a Papa!”
Bob continued, “You need to understand something. The key to the double portion and the key to understanding what God is releasing in your generation is to learn to honor those who have gone on before you. Honor those that have paid a price in the foundational seasons. If you can do that, God will bless you with an inheritance to you and your children’s children.”
Bob went on to share that if he would have prophesied in 1975 and he would have missed one word, they would have said he was a false prophet.

“I also heard you speaking in tongues. If you didn’t interpret that in 1975, they would have said that you were of the devil, boy. You receive in three and a half years what it took me forty to get. Then, you ask me if my ceiling can be your floor. You don’t realize that it is already happening in your generation. You won’t move into the next level, until you learn to honor those who have gone on before you. You are going to see signs and wonders and millions of salvation, but here’s the key: Honor those who have gone before you and build upon that which has already been built.”
Keep It Simple:
It’s all about honor. Honor the fathers and mothers who have pioneered what we get to walk in with ease today! Build upon their legacy and watch God release divine inheritance to you and to your children’s children.
