The Mirrors of God (2min)

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 NASB
As the Spirit of God comes, it changes us! This scripture is sharing how the Spirit of the Lord reveals Jesus to the church. When we have encounters with God by His Spirit while reading the Word of God, we are changed. As God gives us dreams and visions, it takes us from glory to glory and strength to strength. When you encounter God, He transforms your life.

The mirror of the Word of God reflects who Christ is and who you are. God is looking for a generation that knows who they are and whose they are. As we read and meditate on the Word of God, the reflection of what the Word of God says about us causes us to be transformed because the Spirit of God brings the Word alive inside of us.
There is also a mirror in the spiritual realm. We can have spiritual encounters with Christ. The apostles of old, like Peter and John, had encounters with Christ in dreams and in visions. One time, I had a dream and God laughed at me! That was all that happened. When I woke up, the Lord spoke to me and said, “Jerame, you take yourself too seriously.” At that time I was really striving. I was trying to grow in God and do everything I could in my own strength. He wanted me to just chill out and let Him move in my life. I just needed to read the Word, pray, get with God and let Him transform my life. Some people try to crucify their flesh and others allow Jesus to come and actually remove strongholds. This dream was like a spiritual mirror that opened my eyes to what I was doing and what God really wanted for me!
Religion is like bad breath. Everyone around the person knows except the person that actually has it! Anything that holds you back from experiencing more things of God is out of order or is out of alignment with Him. When you get with God in a place of intimacy the fire of God’s love will burn out those things— like bad character and sinful nature. It’s like looking in a mirror!

God wants to cleanse our hearts and purify us. In order for that to happen, we need to be in relationship with Him, where He encounters us and speaks to us through the Word, through dreams and heavenly visitations!
Keep It Simple…
God wants to encounter you with the mirror of His Word and the mirror His Spirit. As the Holy Ghost releases freedom in your life, you are going to be transformed in the same image of Christ!
