Cultivate Atmospheres to Host God's Glory! (3min)

Article by Jerame Nelson

Moses was a cultivator of atmospheres that host the glory of God. Moses lived for the reward of God’s manifest presence. Check this out:

By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. Hebrews 11:24-26 NIV

If you want to be a atmosphere-cultivator for the glory of God like Moses, make God’s manifest presence the reward you are after, above anything and everything else. Moses chose God’s glory above the riches of the world and above the fleeting pleasure of sin.

If you want God’s glory, you have to look ahead and press into the reward of intimacy with Jesus. Do not settle for less than your inheritance.

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you…” James 4:8 NIV

I’m made up my mind that I willing to pay whatever price is necessary for intimacy because I have chosen the glory as my reward.

If you want to cultivate an atmosphere of glory in your life, spend time with God. One of the things that happens when you spend time with God is that His presence beings to linger and rest upon you. It goes beyond being aware of Him in your devotional time. God wants to get you to the place where you are conscious of Him at all times.

If you want to cultivate the realm of His presence, you must be aware of His presence all the time.

What’s the difference between the chabod and shekinah glory?” Check out this 1-minute answer with Jerame Nelson to find out!

Throughout your day, whether you’re at work, at school, in the car, begin to become aware of His presence. Begin to thank Him, “God I thank you that your presence is available right here at my work desk, right here at lunch, right here in my car.”

I believe there’s a generation of glory-cultivators that will live clean because they have their mind set on the reward. Sin will not have a grip on them because they will esteem Him more than the pleasure of earthly riches, like Moses.

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV

Keep it Simple…

God’s manifest presence is the reward. The more you choose to be God-conscious, the more it develops an atmosphere of glory in your life! I bless you with a fresh hunger and a fresh anointing to know God more.
