How do I live pure?
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2 NIV
One of the greatest keys of staying pure in a perverse generation is intimacy with God.

So many people try to “flesh out” purity. They try to live a legalistic lifestyle in their own strength. They live constantly thinking and focusing on what you can’t do. “Don’t do this! Don’t do that!”
I believe that when we’ll fall madly in love with Jesus, we make Him the focus of our hearts. When we’re with Him, the anointing of God breaks the yoke and the anointing of God begins to rest on us. When this happens, Holy Spirit will empower us to choose Him over sin.
I believe true purity and true fear of the Lord is when we have fallen so madly in love with Jesus that we don’t want to do anything to hurt His heart or to jeopardize His anointing in our lives.
From this place we don’t do the things we shouldn’t. Sin does not have a grip on us anymore!
So, why should I stay pure?
Did you know that there are different levels to knowing and experiencing God? Purity is about receiving an inheritance.

When you get saved, you are redeemed, but it doesn’t stop there. We go into new revelations. We serve God as His servants. Then, we become a friend of God. When we keep seeking Him, we begin to know God intimately as the bride of Christ. All of a sudden, we become kings and priests in the Lord. When we live pure for God, we access the realm of heaven.
Purity’s purpose is to advance in the things of God.
If there was no purpose behind purity, why would we set ourselves apart? We want to advance in the levels of knowing God. We want to advance in our levels of operating in the anointing and seeing the things of the Kingdom manifest in our lives.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” Matthew 5:8 NIV (Emphasis Added)
It’s all about intimacy with God! Let’s check our hearts, repent if we need to and reset our gaze on the King of Kings who makes us pure.
