David always talked about worshiping the Lord in the beauty of holiness. I believe that there are 3 keys that will unlock a greater dimension of intimacy with God in your life! Let’s jump into the book of Psalms to discover the beauty of holiness, the desire of every true worshiper.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalm 100:4
Key #1: Thanksgiving

When you come to a place in your life where it seems difficult to worship, start to thank God! The secret to enter the King’s gates is thanksgiving. When you begin to thank God for the blessings and the miracles that He has poured into your life, it breaks open the bronze heavens over you. “Lord, I thank you for forgiveness! Thank you for Jesus! Thank you for my wife! Thank you for the financial breakthroughs you have released in my life!” Thanksgiving releases the glory of God. It opens your spirit up to connect your heart with the Father! Then, when you’re already in this place you begin to use the second key to move in closer.
Key #2: Praise
Praise releases the greatness of God! Praise breaks open the atmosphere so God’s Presence can flood in. This is what we do in church many times. We sing the praises of the King.
Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. Psalm 145:3
Praise will change the atmosphere in your home, your car or your church. When we praise, we move passed the gates and into the courts of the King! In this place, we have a choice to enter into an even greater place of intimacy.

In the Holy of Holies, there is true worship. This is beyond singing songs. This is where the King shows up and His presence fills the room. In this holy place when He listens to our cries and He actually comes, we must learn how to wait and be still so we can hear what He is saying. We need to listen. I believe true worship is when you give your King his rightful place over your whole life. He is not only our Savior and our Friend, He is our King! When was the last time you were face down in your bedroom? Sometimes the greatest realm of worship has no words. It’s when you lay before Him, you honor Him, your respect is His. In this place of worship, you give Him Lordship over everything, over everyone and over every area of your life.
Keep it Simple…
These three keys will lead you to the King! The secret to Jesus’ life of miracles was John 5:19:
Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.That’s the key for us to!
If we want to walk in the same fire of intimacy and love as Jesus, we need to see what the Father is doing. Be with Him. Listen to Him. Enter His gates with thanksgiving, His courts with praise and draw near to Him in the Holy of Holies!
